In the light of a Pravasi entrepreneur's suicide in the state of Kerala due to bureaucratic red tapism recently, Pravasi Legal Cell (Kerala Chapter) is organising a Niyamavedi on Pravasis and Human Rights Violations on July 13, 2019 (Saturday) at Ernakulam Press Club Hall, Kochi.
Justice M. R. Hariharan Nair, Former Ombudsman for Local Self Government Institutions kindly agreed to inaugurate the event.
Judge P. Mohan Das, Judicial Member, Kerala State Human Rights Commission will be the Keynote Speaker.

An Indian nurse is in trouble in Qatar due to the negligence of officials of a major private hospital in Delhi. Mr. Sunu Skaria, who recently got a new job in Qatar was a former employee of Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket from 2008 to 2012. PLC submits representation before Hon’ble Ministry of Civil Aviation seeking urgent intervention against exorbitant air fares in these Covid-19 pandemic times. Pravasi Legal Cell through its President, Adv. Jose Abraham has submitted a representation before the Ministry of Civil Aviation in the wake of reports that airline companies in particular the national carrier Air Indiais charging exorbitant fares from Indian expatriates for travel in these Covid-19 pandemic times. Pravasi Legal Cell (PLC) decided to submit the representation, after receiving numerous grievances from financially weak Indian Expatriates, who are finding it very difficult to bear the astronomically high travel expenses.
